Karsten Peters (1935-1985) makes a guest appearance as the man who gives a tour of the offices of the newspaper Tagesanzeiger.
Born in Waren/Müritz, he studied sociology as well as theater and journalism in Hamburg and Munich. From 1958 until 1977, he was editor and editor-in-chief of the Munich Abendzeitung, later of the Hamburger Abendblatt and of Der Abend. Apart from his activities as journalist, his numerous small guest appearances in Fassbinder films include LOLA.
