Joachim Hansen (1930-2007) is Hans Edelkern.
He started his career as an interpreter and then became an actor. With such movies as STAR OF AFRICA, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED, and THE WINDS OF WAR he was one of the big film stars of the 1950s and 60s; in the mid-60s he also began to appear in international productions. NORA HELMER is another Fassbinder engagement.
