Gottfried Hüngsberg (1948)

Born in Tutzing, he composed the dramaturgical music for WORLD ON A WIRE. He not only is  trained in the fields of sound recording techniques and composition, but was also in charge of the sound design for numerous antiteater productions on stage. In Fassbinder’s first feature, LOVE IS COLDER THAN DEATH, he has a brief appearance as policeman. In KATZELMACHER and GODS OF THE PLAGUE, he was responsible for the primary sound recordings. Since 1974, he has been married to the author and Nobel Prize laureate Elfriede Jelinek.
