Eddie Constantine (1917 -1993) makes a guest appearance as the man in the Rolls Royce.

Born as Edward Constantinewski in Los Angeles, he started his international career as chansonnier in such places as the Moulin Rouge in Paris. As actor, he became world famous in his role as the FBI agent Lemmy Caution. Jean-Luc Godard’s ALPHAVILLE is considered one of the reference films for WORLD ON A WIRE. In the 1970s Constantine was discovered by the New German Film. His appearances there include Peter Lilienthal’s MALATESTA. His debut with Fassbinder was the film BEWARE OF A HOLY WHORE, where he plays himself. Another collaboration with Fassbinder was THE THIRD GENERATION.
