Daniel F. Galouye 1920 - 1976

Daniel F. Galouye (born in New Orleans, USA) was a test pilot during World War II and worked as a reporter during the 1950s and 60s. He published short stories in numerous science fiction magazines and five novels under the pseudonym Louis G. Daniels. His most successful publications were Dark Universe (1961) and Simulacron-3 (1964). The latter was filmed twice: First by Rainer Werner Fassbinder under the title WORLD ON A WIRE, and in 1999 by Josef Rusnak (Production: Ute and Roland Emmerich) entitled THE 13TH FLOOR.
