Christiane Maybach (1932 - 2006) makes a guest appearance as the lady at the bar.

Born in Berlin, she started at the Schillertheater’s acting school in 1956. In the 1950s and 60s, she appeared as singer in many musical- and domestic films (“Heimatfilm”). Due to her very slight resemblance to Marilyn Monroe, she was cast in roles that represented the image of a sex symbol. Her Fassbinder appearances include FOX AND HIS FRIENDS and SATAN’S BREW. In BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ her guest part is that of a landlady in a shelter for homeless people.
