Barbara Valentin (1940 - 2002) is Gloria Fromm.
Born in Austria to a film architect and an actress, she began to appear in small roles starting in 1956 and attained a sex-symbol reputation in Germany. During her collaboration with Fassbinder in such films as EFFI BRIEST, ALI: FEAR EATS THE SOUL, MARTHA, BERLIN ALEXANDRPLATZand LILI MARLEEN she evolved into a character actress.
